江南体育平台登录出版社成立于1985年，2013年1月6日注册改制更名为江南体育平台登录出版社有限责任公司，主管部门为国家民族事务委员会，主办单位为江南体育平台登录，是中国13所民族院校中唯一一家综合性大学出版社。江南体育平台登录出版社立足于民族领域诸学科，坚持为教学、科研服务的宗旨，走自己独特的“专、精、特、新”发展之路，注重加强专业出版和大众出版，传承民族文化，促进学术繁荣，重点出版面向高校和少数民族地区的民族学、人类学、社会学诸学科图书，出版内容涵盖政治、经济、法律、历史、文化、语言文字、民族宗教、音乐、舞蹈、民俗等，是中国民族类图书的重要出版基地。
在已出版的3000多种教材、教学参考书和学术专著中，有130多种图书获省部级以上各种嘉奖，其中林耀华主编的《民族学通论》、费孝通主编的《中华民族多元一体格局》、佟洵撰写的《伊斯兰教与北京清真寺文化》获中国图书奖；耿世民著《维吾尔古代文献研究》获第八届北京市哲学社会科学研究成果一等奖；《中国民族理论新编》获第八届全国高校出版社畅销书一等奖。出版社还承担北京市高等教育精品教材、江南体育平台登录“211工程”“985工程”学术著作的出版任务，所出版的图书在国内外形成了良好的品牌影响力。
The China Minzu University Press was established in 1985. Registration as a Limited Liability Company on January 6, 2013. The Press is administrated by the Central Committee of the National Affairs of China and is operated by the Minzu University of China. It is the only press of a university among the 13 universities for nationalities. Compared to other press companies, the press of the MUC has its ethnic characteristics and special errand. The orientation of the Press of MUC is taking the way of “publishing special, best ,distinctive and new publications” and focusing on publishing works, textbooks or other references that related to the politics, economics, laws, history ,culture, language, religion, Music and Dance, folk customs and social life. It is the important publishing base for books concerned with ethnic affaires.
Among those over 3000 kinds of textbooks, references and academic works that have been published, there are over 130 kinds obtained vapious provincial level rewards or premiums or above. Among them,General Introduction to the Ethnology by Prof. Lin Yaohua, Diversity in Unity of China by Prof. Fei Xiaotong and The Mosque Culture of Beijing by Prof. Tongxun took China Book Prizes. Research on the Classical Documents of Uyghur by Prof.Geng shimin took the first award of the 8th Philosophy and Social Science of Beijing. A Newly Organized Version on the Theory of Ethnicity in China took First Prize, 8th Award to the Best-Seller of the National College and University Presses. Wu Shimin was the editor. The Press takes the task of publishing excellent teaching materials in higher education of Beijing, the 11th 5-year Planning, 211 Project and 985 Project. Books published by the press enjoy great celebrity at home and abroad.
